Hello, meet the Hassman Family

Who’s packing in our Suitcase? We are a family of 5, Jeff, Holly, Max (autism), Everett and Levi. The suitcase sometimes gets overpacked, but planning is a great way to travel successfully with a neurodiverse disability.

Travelling can be challenging for children and adults with autism. The changes in routine, unpredictability, crowds, new noises and sights can all make the experience difficult for people on the spectrum and their families.

We hope this blog inspires you to explore new places as a family, especially if you have autism or a disability. We want to share tips that can help you travel successfully.

Feel free to leave a comment or follow me on social media!
